Satu is an Authorized Public Accountant (KHT) and a Partner in charge of Grant Thornton’s Assurance department. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has worked with companies of all sizes – from Finnish SMEs to large corporations and Finnish subsidiaries of international groups.
Her industry expertise is broad and varied, providing her with a strong foundation for understanding each client’s unique context. Through her work Satu is well acquainted with working on international assignments, both with clients and with other Grant Thornton member firms.
Satu also leads the IFRS team at our Helsinki office and carries out a wide range of IFRS audit assignments. As an IFRS advisor, she supports clients in implementing new standards and has taken part in several IFRS conversion projects.
In recent years, Satu’s focus has expanded to sustainability reporting. She is one of the first officially certified Authorized Sustainability Auditors in Finland.
