Aleksi joined Grant Thornton’s Advisory team in Finland in August 2021. He is based in the Helsinki office and specializes in due diligence engagements and valuations related to corporate transactions. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Aleksi worked in similar roles within an international audit firm, where he held, among other positions, the role of Manager in the Valuation team and Senior Manager in the Transaction Services team.
Aleksi has been involved in numerous domestic and cross-border corporate transactions across various industries. He has experience serving both private equity and corporate clients, with his work encompassing business and company valuations, financial due diligence reviews, and other transaction-related advisory assignments. In addition, Aleksi provides support to audit teams on matters related to the application of IFRS when needed.
From 2017 to 2018, Aleksi worked at the Financial Supervisory Authority as a financial reporting specialist, where he participated in the oversight of companies preparing for listing and reviewed their financial reporting practices.
Aleksi has been working in the industry since 2012. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and completed the Authorized Public Accountant (KHT) qualification (no longer in use).
