Grant Thornton 30 years in Finland
Since 1993, Revico Grant Thornton has been a significant player in Finnish auditing. Grant Thornton is one of the world's leading firms providing audit, tax, corporate finance, and other advisory services, and we have been a part of this international success story for nearly 30 years. It all began with the founding partners Mårten Forss and Joakim Rehn establishing the auditing company Revico in 1993, and since then, the company has grown profitably year after year up until this day.

1994: The first employee is hired

2023: Grant Thornton Finland, with approximately 80 employees and 9 million in revenue, is part of Grant Thornton International, a leading organization providing audit, tax, corporate finance, and other advisory services globally
The international growth story
The international growth story of Grant Thornton dates back to the early 1900s in Scotland. The company was founded in 1904 under the name Thornton, Baker & Co. Scottish accountants Alexander Grant and William Thornton joined forces to establish an auditing firm.
Over the following decades, the company grew and expanded its presence. In 1959, Grant Thornton opened its first international office in the United States, marking a significant step towards internationalization. In 1975, Thornton, Baker & Co. and the American firm Alexander Grant & Co. merged to create the globally recognized network known as Grant Thornton. Over the years, numerous firms from around the world have joined this network.
Today, Grant Thornton is one of the world's largest accounting firms, operating in over 140 countries with thousands of professionals in its employ. The Grant Thornton network consists of several independent member firms operating in different countries.
